The City of Eau Claire's annual fireworks display returns on July 4 at 10:00 PM, launching from the High Bridge and lighting up the sky above the Chippewa River. Popular viewing locations include:

Be sure to arrive early, as many of the best viewing spots fill up throughout the evening.
Celebrate at Cannery Park
Before the fireworks begin, Eau Claire's newest downtown gathering space is hosting an evening of family-friendly activities.
6:00 PM – 11:00 PM: Food trucks on Oxford Avenue
6:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Family Fun Zone featuring miniature golf, arcade games, and a bubble station
6:30 PM: Official Cannery Park ribbon-cutting ceremony
7:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Trolley rides
9:00 PM: Rock 'n Roll To Go live music in Phoenix Park

Run the f-EAU-rth of July 5K
Start your Independence Day with a little movement before the celebrations begin! The annual f-EAU-rth of July 5K returns to Eau Claire on July 4 at 8:00 AM at UW-Eau Claire's Hibbard Hall.
The event includes:
A 5K run/walk
A kids' race
Red, white, and blue spirit wear
Registered dog participation
