Metro Minute: School Trips, Water Park Updates, and Outdoor Fun
This week around the resort was busy in the best way possible. Between hundreds of students visiting for end-of-year celebrations, renovation projects wrapping up in Chaos Water Park, and outdoor attractions officially running for the summer, there’s been a lot happening around here lately.
Celebrating the End of the School Year
This week, we welcomed a huge number of school groups to the resort to celebrate the end of the school year, including nearly 900 students in the building on Thursday alone!
Our team spent the week serving hundreds of pizzas, running attractions, and helping create a fun way for students to kick off summer break with their classmates and teachers.
School trip season is always crazy around the resort, and we’re incredibly grateful to be a place where schools choose to gather, celebrate, and kick off summer fun together.
Locker Room Renovations Complete
We also officially wrapped up our locker room renovations inside Chaos Water Park this week!
You will now notice refreshed walls, flooring, benches, showers, and restroom stalls throughout the locker room spaces. While we’re still adding a few finishing touches to the water park lobby area, it’s been exciting seeing these updated spaces start coming together.
Projects like these may happen behind the scenes, but they make a huge difference in helping your experience feel cleaner, brighter, and more comfortable while visiting the water park.
Outdoor Attractions Are Open
And finally, a reminder that outdoor attraction season is officially underway at Action City.
Outdoor mini golf is open daily whenever Action City is open, while our outdoor go-karts and zipline are now operating Fridays through Sundays from 11am–7pm.
Summer around the resort always feels a little different once guests are back outside enjoying the attractions again, and we’re excited to officially have outdoor fun back in full swing.
