Metropolis Minute: Steel Going Up, Birthday Fun & Chaos Maintenance
We've had a fun week here at the Resort with a lot of prep for summer fun! The Action City expansion is starting to look very real, Splasharoo’s Birthday Bash is finally here, and Chaos Water Park is getting ready to reopen after annual maintenance.
Action City Expansion Taking Shape
One of the most exciting milestones so far is officially happening… the steel frame for the Action City expansion is starting to go up!
For the last couple of months, most of the work has happened at ground level, which meant a lot of behind-the-scenes progress that we couldn’t fully see yet. But now, the building is finally starting to rise and it completely changes the feeling around the site.
Every week, things are looking more and more real, and it’s been exciting watching guests stop to look at the progress as they visit the resort.
There’s still a lot more to come, but this was a great moment this week where we could really start picturing what the future of Action City is going to look like.
🎉 Splasharoo's Birthday Bash
This Saturday, May 9th, we’re celebrating Splasharoo’s Birthday Bash in Action City!
It’s filled with lots of energy, lots of activities, and plenty of chances for families to make memories together.
The party will include birthday activities, a dance party, appearances from Splasharoo, pizza buffet, and plenty of fun happening throughout Action City.

Annual Chaos Water Park Maintenance
While guests have been enjoying spring fun in Action City, our team has been hard at work inside Chaos Water Park during our annual maintenance closure.
Annual maintenance is one of the biggest behind-the-scenes projects of the year. It gives our team time to deep clean, complete repairs, inspect attractions, refresh spaces, and make sure everything is ready for another busy season of splashing and family fun.
Cleanliness and safety is our top priority, and we’re excited to officially reopen Chaos next week and welcome everyone back.
