Metropolis Minute featuring new attractions being installed at the Action City Trampoline Park.

Metro Minute: NEW Trampoline Park Updates

July 25, 20263 min read

If you've been following along with our Action City expansion updates, you know there's a lot to be excited about. While we're still looking forward to opening the new building, we didn't want all the fun to be waiting on the other side of construction.

That's why this week we're giving our trampoline park a refresh with several brand-new attractions, along with a few updates to some of the spaces you already know and love.

Some of the changes are ready for you to experience this weekend, while others are still being installed and will be coming online over the next week or so. Here's a look at what's changing.

The Favorites Aren't Going Anywhere

Before we get into what's new, don't worry! Many of the attractions you come back for are staying right where they are.

You'll still find open court jump, one of our dodgeball courts, the indoor playground, Stunt Jump, our one-lane Ninja Warrior course, and the Battle Beam area.

The goal wasn't to completely reinvent the trampoline park. It was to add a few new experiences while keeping the attractions families already enjoy.

What's New?

One of our dodgeball courts is becoming a new Multi-Sport Court. Basketball is still part of the experience, but you'll have more room to play and a little more variety.

The area that previously housed our basketball courts is also getting two interactive attractions: Freestyle Duo and Aero Strike 2.

Freestyle Duo is all about speed and reaction time as you compete head-to-head against family and friends. Right next to it, Aero Strike 2 will put your aim, timing, and reflexes to the test. Both attractions are currently being installed, so keep an eye out next week when they're ready for their first challengers.

Another big change is the addition of Trigger Track, an interactive obstacle course replacing our multi-lane Ninja Warrior course. We heard your feedback on the current setup and wanted to bring in something that offered even more opportunities for friendly competition. Trigger Track features side-by-side racing lanes with lights, sounds, and interactive obstacles that make every race a little different.

If you visit this weekend, you'll probably notice part of the installation process happening. You'll even get a rare look beneath the trampolines. (Spoiler alert: it's mostly steel and concrete.) By this time next week, though, you'll start seeing Trigger Track come to life.

Finally, our Traverse Wall is already open and ready to climb. This interactive climbing attraction challenges your balance, coordination, and agility with multiple game modes, making it just as fun to compete with friends as it is to challenge yourself.

More Is Still On The Way

One of the most exciting parts of this expansion has been watching everything come together piece by piece, and this week's updates are another reminder that the fun isn't waiting until opening day.

If you're visiting Action City this weekend, take a walk through the trampoline park and see what's new. Some attractions are already open, others are just days away, and before long, they'll all be part of your next family visit.

As always, thank you for following along with us. We can't wait to keep sharing what's next as the expansion continues to take shape.
