Year in Review
As we wrap up 2022 we want to look back at what made this year so great. We're so grateful for our guests and staff who played a role in all the fun we had this year. We want to thank you for spending time with us at Metropolis Resort and we look forward to seeing what the next year brings!
City Eats
We opened our brand new restaurant this year! City Eats opened to guests in late March. In addition to a new location by Action City, we also added new food and drink items to our menu. We are grateful for all of the hard work that helped make City Eats a reality and look forward to welcoming and serving our guests for years to come!
Glow in the Park
Glow in the park is back! The blacklights get turned on in the trampoline park every Saturday night and it's been so fun watching everyone jump and play in their best glow gear. In fact, it's so fun that we've recently decided to bring glow in the park to Friday nights too!
Employee Training & Benefits
In early 2022 we restructured and expanded our employee benefits and training programs. New training programs were established to further invest in our staff and foster community throughout the resort. We also updated our employee benefits to include unlimited jump, play, and swim to our staff along with hotel stay, food, and merchandise discounts. We were also excited to offer scholarship opportunities for our staff in higher education. We pride ourselves on being a fun and flexible workplace for our employees and look forward to what's to come in staff development!
Management Training
In November our upper management team was given a great opportunity to travel to Disney World! While there, the team enjoyed tours of Disney resorts and theme parks and were also able to participate in class sessions. The team learned a ton and are excited to implement their new ideas at Metropolis Resort!
The Bunk House
We refreshed many of our rooms this year with updated furniture and décor, but the most notable and exciting renovation was in the Bunk House. This room will still fit up to 20 people on its queen-sized bunk beds, but received a fresh coat of paint, an updated kitchenette, and new furniture.
