As a dedicated board member of WHLA, Sara not only oversees the Workplace Culture Task Force but is also actively involved in the Education/Conference Committee and the Wisconsin Women in Lodging Steering Committee. Her unwavering commitment to advancing the hospitality industry is further exemplified by her participation in WHLA Action Days and the recent Hotels on the Hill event in Washington DC.
Sara is also a part of Leadership Eau Claire through the Chamber of Commerce and a proactive member of the Alliance mastermind group. She extends her commitment by engaging with the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions and attending the HITEC conference annually, showcasing her dedication to both local and global industry development.
Here at Metropolis Resort, Sara has spearheaded initiatives such as "Metropolis University," a groundbreaking program empowering employees to progress into leadership roles. This commitment to career development and employee retention has resulted in internal promotions, transforming roles across various departments. Sara's visionary approach extends to taking the Executive Management team to Disney World for immersive hospitality training, emphasizing her dedication to leadership cultivation and team inspiration.
