For younger kids (or those who just prefer the sweet over the spooky), you can still throw an unforgettable Halloween party full of laughter, treats, and friendly competition. Here are five kid-approved Halloween party games that skip the scares but keep the fun.

Pumpkin Bowling

Turn empty two-liter bottles (or anything else you have lying around—get creative!) into “ghost pins” by painting them white and adding silly ghost faces. Use a small pumpkin as your bowling ball and see who can knock down the most pins!

Candy Corn Spoon Relay

Give each team a spoon and a piece of candy corn (or a painted egg, mini pumpkin, etc.) to balance. Players race to pass it down the line without dropping it. The first team to finish wins a sweet prize! Have players hold the spoons in their mouths for an extra challenge.

Witch Hat Ring Toss

Create cone-shaped witch hats from cardboard or buy them from a party store, then toss rings to land over the hats. Perfect for all ages and easy to set up! Use glow stick necklaces as your tossing rings for a fun glow-in-the-dark twist.

Pin the Nose on the Witch

A Halloween twist on “Pin the Tail on the Donkey.” Blindfolded players try to place a cut-out nose on a large picture of a witch. Closest placement wins!

Ghostly Bean Bag Toss

Paint a large piece of cardboard with a ghost and cut out mouth and/or eye holes of different sizes. Players toss bean bags through the openings to score points. The smaller the hole, the higher the score!
