These classic chocolate cookies filled with Halloween M&Ms and candy eyeballs are sure to be a hit at any Halloween party (or even at home if you're just in a festive mood)!
3/4 cup butter softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. milk
1 bag Halloween colored M&Ms
1 package of candy eyeballs
Mix together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
Add the egg and vanilla. Mix until creamy & light in color.
Add in the dry ingredients (flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt), mix into the dough. When the dry ingredients are about halfway mixed in, add the milk to the dough. Mix until completely combined. The dough will be very soft.
Fold in the M&Ms.
Scoop or roll the cookie dough out into equal sized balls. Arrange on a cookie sheet. Press candy eyeballs onto the top of the dough before placing in the oven.
Bake at 350° for 7-9 minutes or until the cookies are puffy and no longer glossy on top.
Enjoy!
