Are Chaos Water Park passes included with an overnight stay?
Yes! Water Park passes are included for each registered guest in the hotel room.
Who should be counted/registered in the hotel room?
Everyone! We require the total amount of adults, as well as children and infants in the total count of guests registered to your hotel room reservation.
This is required for fire code, but it also helps us ensure you get the correct number of water park passes included with your reservation!
What does the Resort fee include?
Wi-fi access throughout the Resort

How do I cancel my reservation?
We would love to have you stay with us, but understand that life happens sometimes. Please call 715-334-8751 to cancel your reservation.
*If you booked through a third party, such as Expedia, please contact your point-of-booking to cancel.
Is there an age requirement to reserve and check into a hotel room?
Yes. Hotel policy states you must be at least 18 years old at time of check-in to check into your hotel room.
What do I need to bring to check-in smoothly?
We cannot wait to see you!
At check in, we require the person whose name and credit card are on the reservation to be on-site with:
A valid credit card to be charged at check-in
A valid driver's license
If you will not be on-site, but would like us to charge your card to purchase a room for someone else. Please fill out the credit card authorization form.
I made a reservation for someone else, but would like to pay for it. How do I do that?
Not a problem!
You may make a reservation for someone else with your credit card on file. In order for us to check them in and protect you, we require you to fill out a credit card authorization form on our website. This gives us the permission to charge your card without you being present at the time of check-in.
What is a credit card authorization form and where can I find it?
A Credit Card Authorization form allows us to charge your card without you being present. Typically, this is used when someone else is paying for a hotel room or passes.

Do you have any military, health care, educator, and service personnel discounts?

We offer a 10% discount called our "HERO" rate. You may book this rate over the phone at 715-334-8751.
*A valid ID must be presented at time of check-in.
Do you allow cash payments for hotel rooms?
At this time we, we do not accept cash for the purchase of hotel rooms. We require a credit or debit card on file.
Do you have room service or housekeeping service?
At this time, we do not have room service or housekeeping service.
If you need housekeeping service during your stay, you may call the front desk.
Food may be ordered for pick-up through the GrubHub app, or by calling City Eats and placing an order.
Do you have adjoining rooms?
Yes, we have a select few adjoining rooms. In order to book adjoining rooms, please call the hotel front desk at 715-334-8751.

Do you have guest laundry machines available?
We do have a guest laundry room located near the hotel lobby. It is coin operated, so you are able to use it at your own convenience.
What are your blackout dates?
Do you plan on using a voucher or gift certificate for your stay? Please make sure to check our blackout dates prior to booking. Vouchers or gift certificates for overnight stays will not be able to be applied during these dates.

What is included with a swim pass?
All day swimming!
Enjoy Chaos Water Park for the entire day!
Make sure to check our hours to see when we are fully or partially open.
If I am not swimming, do I have to pay to be in Chaos Water Park?
We charge $5 for a dry pass for those who choose not to swim.
Where are the prices for Chaos Water Park?

Do you have any discounts on Chaos Water Park passes?
Yes!
Late night passes start at 6pm for $17.50 per person. Children under 36 inches are just $7 per child.
We also have a Thursday Night Swim Deal for $19.99 per person, or $9.99 per child under 36 inches.
Do you have any military, health care, educator, and service personnel discounts?
Yes, thank you for your service!
We offer a 10% discount called our "HERO" rate. Just present a Valid ID while purchasing passes at the Chaos Admission Desk to receive your discount.

Do I have to pay for my baby to swim at Chaos Water Park?
Children under the age of one are free.
Children under 36 inches tall are $17.50 and children taller than 36 inches are $35.
Does Chaos Water Park provide towels?
Yes! We have towels free for our guests to use.
However, you are still welcome to bring your favorite towel into the water park with you!
Do you have life jackets available?
Yes! We have a variety of life jackets available. They are first come, first serve and free to use.
Can parents go down the slides with children?
You may use a double tube to ride down the tube slide with a child.
Unfortunately, we do not allow people to ride together on our body slide. Life jackets are also not allowed on the body slide.
What does it mean when the water park is partially open vs. fully open?
Great question!
When the park is fully open you will have access to all water park activities.
When Chaos Water Park is partially open, activities include:
The Activity Pool
Hot Tub
Kiddie Area and Aquatic Playground
*During this time the tube slide, body slide, and the lazy river will be closed.
When the park is partially open, you may swim for a discounted rate of $7/per person.
Are there age requirements to use the hot tub?
Per health code, children under 5 years old may not use the hot tub. Children aged 6-12 may use the hot tub under adult supervision, while children 13 and up are welcome to use the hot tub without supervision.
*Life jackets are not allowed in the hot tub.
Action City
What is Action City?
Action City is our arcade and fun center! It includes all kinds of fun such as our indoor trampoline park and super arcade. Plus attractions such as go-karts, laser tag, bumper cars, and more!
Did you know Action City was here before the hotel and water park? It was our very first building!
Do I have to pay to watch my kids play in Action City?
Nope! We do not charge an entry fee for Action City.
If you are just coming to watch your kids, grandkids, or friends play - it is free to watch! We only charge if you are participating in any activities.
What is included with a Play Pass?
Play passes are offered in 3-Hour or 5-Hour options and include unlimited use of:

What are the requirements to drive the double go-karts?
Good question, the double go-karts are a great way to have fun with children who may be too short to drive!
In order to drive a double go-kart, the driver must be at least 16 years old and the passenger must be at least 40 inches tall.
Are there weight limits for any attractions?
Some attractions do have weight limits. These attractions include:
Trampolines - 350 lbs.
Outdoor Zipline - Combined weight of 450 lbs.
Bumper Cars - 275 lbs.
There are no weight limits for the go-karts, or any other attractions not listed above.
Dining
Can I bring my own food into Chaos Water Park and Action City?
Per health code, we do not allow outside food or drinks into our parks.

Do you offer breakfast and is it included with a hotel stay?
The hotel does not offer continental breakfast. However, we do have a restaurant on-site at the Resort open for breakfast on select days.

Do you have a bar?
Yes! Our bar is located inside of our on-site restaurant, City Eats.

If food or dessert does not fit in our hotel room mini fridge, can you store it for me?
Unfortunately, due to health code, we cannot store any outside food or beverage.
Groups and Parties
Do you host events?
Yes! We host weddings and rehearsal dinners, corporate outings, school groups, church groups, family reunions, and so much more!

Do you host birthday parties?
Absolutely! We host birthday parties in Action City and Chaos Water Park. We even have hotel stay packages available!

Can I reserve a block of rooms?
Yes! All group bookings go through our sales department. Please reach out to our event coordinators to see what we have available.

We have reserved a birthday party, can we bring our own dessert?
Happy Birthday!
All birthday party packages include Dairy Queen treats for each guest. However, if you would like to bring your own dessert, we do allow you to bring in dessert from a licensed baker (not made from home).
Can we use extra birthday party passes at a later date?
At this time, we require you to use all of your passes on the day of your party. We do not allow them to be used on a later date.

Where are you located?
We are located in Eau Claire, Wisconsin!
We are an independent hotel and do not currently have any other locations.
What are your hours?
Our hotel hours are 24/7 and there is always a representative at the front desk!
Action City, Chaos Water Park, and City Eats hours vary depending on the week. The best way to check our hours is on hour website where they are updated frequently.

Are pets allowed in the hotel?
You've fetched the right place to stay!
At Metropolis Resort, we allow dogs in our hotel rooms for a fee of $30 per dog per night with a max of two dogs per room.
*Dogs are only allowed in our standard double queen and standard king rooms.
Are pets allowed in the parks?
While all dogs are allowed in the hotel, only registered service dogs are allowed in our parks.

I accidentally purchased the wrong passes, how do I get a refund?

Do you have ice machines and vending machines?
We have ice machines located on the first and third floor of the hotel. Vending can be found throughout the resort!
Do you sell gift cards?

Do you have electric car chargers?
Yes! We have two-slot electric car charging station near Chaos Water Park on the south side of the property. It is $1 to connect and $1.50 per hour of charging use.
