The Graphic Designer will be responsible for the design and execution of visual communications that span branding, character/mascot development, signage, merchandise, themed environments, product packaging, and digital assets. This role blends imagination, precision, and strategic thinking to ensure the Metropolis brand is consistently represented in a fun, engaging, and professional manner.

Responsibilities & Duties:
Key Responsibilities
Create custom illustrations, characters, and mascots for resort theming and campaigns
Develop and maintain brand identity across all platforms and departments
Design and oversee resort signage from concept through installation
Design logos and brand assets for new concepts, attractions, and events
Design apparel, plush toys, and other branded merchandise
Create visuals for social media, print, digital ads, and promotional materials
Work with cross-functional teams to bring marketing and experience-based ideas to life
Manage multiple projects from concept to completion with minimal supervision
Coordinate with vendors and installers to ensure high-quality execution of materials
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Illustration, Visual Arts, or related field
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
Strong illustration and character design skills (must be able to draw digitally)
Experience designing for multiple formats: print, digital, signage, merchandise
Familiarity with branding and theming principles
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in hospitality, entertainment, or themed environments
Knowledge of large-format printing, signage installation, or fabrication processes
Experience with clothing/product design and layout
Animation or motion graphics skills (a plus)
