Metropolis Resort is currently accepting applications for our hotel utility/laundry position! Our hotel utility/laundry team plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operations and overall cleanliness of the hotel and the connecting parks. The ideal candidate enjoys cleaning, is self motivated, and detail-orientated.
This part-time position primarily involves weekend shifts but scheduling is flexible. Hired candidates can expect around 20 hours per week.
Looking for more hours? At Metropolis Resort we offer the opportunity to cross-train into housekeeping or various other areas throughout the resort. This not only provides more hours but you also gain valuable experience in other areas.

Responsibilities & Duties:
Perform daily cleaning tasks in various areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, and back-of-house areas. This includes dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and replenishing supplies as necessary.
Help clean Action City/Chaos dinning rooms and bathrooms as needed.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and inquiries, ensuring a high level of customer service at all times.
Operate commercial laundry equipment including washers and dryers.
Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, towels, and other laundry items according to established procedures.
Work closely with other hotel staff to ensure efficient operations and a positive guest experience.
Be willing to work in various areas of the hotel, including different shifts and weekends, based on operational needs.
